The University will close down during the Christmas break from close of business Thursday 24 December 2009 to Friday 1 January 2010. Staff not taking additional annual leave during this period will return to work on Monday 4 January 2010.

The public holidays to be observed during this period are Christmas Day (Friday 25 December 2009), Proclamation Day (Monday 28 December 2009), University Holiday (Tuesday 29 December 2009 and New Years Day (Friday 1 January 2010).
Payroll Processing Arrangements for End of Year 2009
Casual forms for payment and overtime/shift loading forms for payment on Friday 4 December 2009, must reach procurement.sciences@adelaide.edu.au by the usual deadline of 5.00 pm, Friday 20 November 2009.
Please note that this is before the Christmas Closedown and anticipation of casual hours up to and including 18 December 2009 is allowed providing the School/Area takes responsibility for all monies paid.
